Credits are what you spend when we extract contact data for you. This article explains exactly when credits are used, how much each type of data costs, and why we do it this way—so you can plan your workflows and get the most out of your plan.
What are credits?
Credits are your balance for lead data extraction. Each time we successfully find and save a piece of contact data (e.g. a business name, an email, a phone number), we deduct a small amount from your credit balance. Your plan gives you a monthly credit allowance; once you use it, you can top up or wait until the next billing cycle. Credits are not used for browsing or searching—only when we actually extract and store data for a lead.
When are credits deducted?
Credits are deducted only when we successfully extract and save data. For each lead we store, we look at which fields we actually found (name, website, phone, email, social links). We charge only for fields that have a value. If we don’t find an email for a business, we don’t charge you for email on that lead. If a listing has no website at all, we don’t save it as a lead and we don’t deduct any credits for it—so you only pay for leads that have at least a website and that count toward your lead limit.
How much does each field cost?
We use two price tiers.
Core fields (0.25 credits each when present): business name, website URL, phone number, and email. These are the main contact and identity data you need for outreach.
Social links (0.10 credits each when present): Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube. These cost less because they’re optional and often used for enrichment rather than primary contact.
Example: a lead with business name, website, one email, and one Instagram link uses 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.10 = 0.85 credits. If you enable many optional fields but we only find a few, you’re only charged for what we actually extract.
Why charge per data point?
Charging per extracted field keeps things fair and predictable. You pay for the value you get: more complete leads (with email, phone, socials) cost a bit more; minimal leads (name and website only) cost less. It also encourages efficient use: you can turn off extraction for fields you don’t need and save credits for the data that matters to you. Your balance is easy to understand—you see how many credits you have, and each workflow uses a predictable amount based on how many leads we save and which fields we find.
Practical tips
Enable only the fields you need (e.g. email and phone if that’s what you use for outreach). Check your credit balance before starting a large workflow so you don’t run out mid-run. If your balance hits zero during a run, we stop saving new leads until you top up. You can always run another workflow later with different settings or after your credits reset.
